Once Upon a Time…

A girl dreamed she could, and so she did.

When:
January 24, 2026
5 PM to 12 AM

Where:
Palazzo Rondinini
(via del Corso 518, Rome)

Join me in my favorite city in the world for a black and white gala dinner and ball to celebrate my 40th birthday! I always dreamed of having a beautiful wedding surrounded by my friends and family. I’m tired of waiting, so I decided to make my own dreams come true and throw a ball!

Besides being breathtakingly beautiful, the palace holds a lot of symbolic meaning for me. It was built in 1750 by Giuseppe Rondinini to house his vast art collection after moving to Rome from Faenza (the city where my Italian family lives today). “Rondinini” is the diminutive of “Rondini,” which means “swallows” in Italian, so “little swallows.” Swallows are migratory birds that go between Europe and Africa. They represent the start of spring in Italy and France. They are also symbols of good luck, hope, renewal, and love. They make me think of happiness, summertime, and new beginnings.

For those staying longer than just Saturday, I am also organizing an optional food and wine tasting dinner on Friday, January 23. More details to come soon!
